Most early 70 model cars were close to late 60's. Close to the same body styles. Close to the same motor sizes. Just higher torque and higher horsepower. However, late 60's models cars are much more wanted than early 70's models cars due to the rarity. '69 seems to be a popular year for the majority of makes and models. Challengers and chargers are greatly wanted in all 69, 70, and 71 due to close to the same body style as well as close to the same horsepower and torque. Same goes for Novas, Chevelles, Camaros, and Impalas.

Early 70's Models cars weren't as popular as late 60's models. Chevelles, Novas, Fairlanes, C10's, Chargers, Challengers, and many more. Not much has changed maybe a couple gearing changes but still equipped with big blocks, small blocks, and 6 cylinders. More automatic transmissions for a better drive as a family vehicle. Still carburated but dodge had their big block hemi 426 with duel 4 barrel carbs. In fast and Furious, throughout all episodes that Vin Diesel is in, he has a 71 charger. With a 1050 blower and a 426 it had the possibility of pushing around 550hp without the nitrous injection that also added horsepower when engaged. Trucks had bench seats, and cars had buckets most commonly. With 4 speed being on the floor which is what dodge ran in a lot of their cars it would have been hard to have a bench seat and still be able to shift without leaning into the dash.
